Cole Sheckler began making jewelry back in 1975. His career began with his finding turquoise on the streets of Cripple Creek, Colorado and his need to learn how to do something with it. Forty-five years later, he still maintains his interest in creating beautiful jewelry with Nature's gifts. Cole is quite knowledgeable about gems and gemology and is often sought out by other jewelers and gem dealers for his advice about rarities. He is a a skilled gem cutter, jewelry fabricator and artist. After a lifetime of selling his work at high end arts and craft shows along the Eastern Seaboard, his career is being interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Cole just can't quit making jewelry because it's a large part of who he is. He loves his work and doesn't want to give it up.
